After graduating from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb in 1998, Damir Sajko began work as a trainee in the office of the law firm Eterović & Šunić in Zagreb. He continued his traineeship in the office of the lawyer Ruđer Anić up until passing the bar exam in 2003. From 2003 to 2006, he ran his own law firm in Zagreb and co-operated with the lawyers Krešimir and Ruđer Anić. This close co-operation resulted in the establishment of the law firm Anić and Partners in 2006 in Zagreb. He is a member of the Croatian Bar Association and Croatian Mediators Association, and is an authorised mediator for the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Croatia and the Croatian Bar Association.

During his legal career, Damir Sajko has dealt with cases related to labour law, compensation claims, commercial, civil and criminal law, and also claims collection.
